My Story

I'm Gemma Sanda UKIHCA-RHC registered Health Coach (Behaviour Change Therapist) and founder of Glolife Integrative Health I am also behind Glolife Cheshire Magazine

I established Glolife Integrative Health to help others achieve overall well-being after facing my own health challenges following the birth of my youngest child. At that time, I felt uncertain about the direction I should take.

After struggling to find a suitable approach, I hired a Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Coach who helped me understand my emotional, physical, and spiritual needs and how they are interconnected. Through behavioral change therapy, I gained the clarity I needed to implement the necessary changes in my life.

I realized that focusing solely on one aspect of my health made it difficult to create long-term, sustainable changes. My previous attempts had not addressed the root causes of my issues.

Health coaching was different because I wasn’t simply being told what to do; I was discovering solutions for myself. My coach helped me confront barriers I had kept closed for years, allowing me to move forward.

With actionable goals, accountability, and support, I was able to lose weight by finding a Personal Trainer who worked alongside my health coach. I also learned to manage stressful situations without feeling overwhelmed as I dealt with trauma and my past alongside my counseling therapist. This newfound clarity enabled me to work on other areas of my life that I had unintentionally neglected. With the support of my health coach, I was able to focus on the barriers I faced and connect with the right therapists and wellness modalities to create the goals I needed to set.

This transformative experience inspired me to pursue a career in health coaching. I trained with one of the best health coaching academies in the UK. Combined with my extensive 25-year background in holistic massage therapy, cosmetology, personal training, and yoga and breathwork therapy, I developed an integrative health approach that is effective, regardless of where you are on your journey.

If you have a chronic health condition or are at risk of developing long-term health issues, health coaches are credentialed to work with you and other healthcare providers in a person-centered way. Most of us know what we need to do; we just need to understand why we feel stuck and how to create the changes we desire.

I have a typical ENFP personality type, often referred to as a Campaigner.

We are often seen as the difficult ones who refuse to conform to societal expectations and pressures. We are the types that as we grow we thrive on passing onto others with the ripple effect. We dont leave anyone behind.
